Ah, it   has been such a good day today. A group of schoolkids from Okinawa visited   today! They didn’t undergo any of the trials, but wanted to learn about the   temple, and several of them wanted to play hide and seek with my avatar.

I’m   happy for you. Thankfully, the only kids in my area are with family members   who have set up businesses there. Had a bit of bad business recently with   kids who were too young to even drive sneaking into the dungeon.

My   first floor bosses staged a minor rebellion. Basically left the boss room,   captured the kids almost as soon as they entered, and then called me to deal   with the situation.

They   can do that?

One of   the downsides of having a bound creature as a boss is that they still have   some autonomy, unless you’re hovering over their shoulder, micromanaging   everything.

So,   what did you do?

To the   bosses? I punished them both with a few rounds in the Breeding Halls.

I…   would rather not know what that entails. What about the children?

Slapped   slave collars on them, then took them to the Adventurer’s Guild where one of   their fathers worked. Was a bit heavy-handed in the price I extracted to turn   them over, but I wanted to stop this from happening again.

Well,   it was a conditional sale. First, the slave collars had to stay on, for three   years. Second, the kids had to announce to the school, the Guild forums, and   all their social media accounts the full terms of this sale, and why they   were getting punished like this. Third, since they were so interested in sex,   I made it so they have to get ‘experience’ with a family member, once a day,   for the next three years. And if any of them miss a day, the sale is called   off, and they all return to me.

Brutal.   You’ve basically destroyed their lives. Was there a point to the cruelty?

Yes,   it was brutal, but it was far lighter than what he could have done, and I’m   sure that everyone who knows him is aware of it. Bringing down the hammer of   justice hard upon these kids may prevent future problems.

That   was my thinking, yes. Also, I negotiated with the American Guild, and anyone   not recognized as an adult by the System will have to have an adult in their   party if they go into dungeons. Some adventurers are already calling them   ‘babysitting’ runs on the forums. And I set up a barrier around the contract   table in my dungeon so that anyone who isn’t an adult, as determined by the   System, will have to experience the dungeon on Nightmare mode.

Huh.   That’s a smart play, Pleasures. I think I’ll do something like that for my   dungeon, too. While I haven’t had too many kids try and make their way into   my dungeon, I can see how this will help things.

For   the same reason I was about to nuke Freedomland. These things help keep   dungeons being ‘dangerous, but useful’, rather than getting people screaming,   “Why won’t someone think of the children?”

Laugh   it up. These invaders are using MINING EQUIPMENT and are just digging   straight through my walls! None of the traps are working, because they all   get destroyed, and any of my kobolds who get close either get run over, or   killed by guards with guns and body armor!

Yes,   and while we don’t like to go announcing it everywhere, he and I are one and   the same. I am both dungeon and god, though I admit having God of Dungeons   added to my domain was unintentional.

It was   a surprise to the rest of us, as well. But congratulations on your victory,   Scaleskin. I hope you will prove more temperate in your dealings than   Freedomland proved himself to be.

Well.   Um. Yeah, I have the dungeon contracts for my dungeon, based off the model   that Resident Evil showed me. Seemed smart at the time, and the adventurers   keep coming back, so that has to mean something.
