Two words: Secular humanism... it surprises me that Dexter wasn’t prepared to display this much in terms of a moral compass to family and friends and what not

On the one hand I really enjoyed this episode. I do wish they would have made it more serious when he went to his reunion, though. I get people are shallow, stupid, ignorant, but... they made it satirical almost... everyone a bit one note. I miss the first season when things were more down to earth and realistic..

Dexter dancing is one of the funniest scenes in the whole series, love it!

Wow I really liked this episode a lot. This season feels a lot more refreshing so far, just to start. I'm glad they severed ties between Angel and Maria, but there's a few things that happened in this episode that was just bizarre. The random girl that gave Dexter a blowjob felt unnecessary, same as the gunmen who came in and shot up the bar. Now, the gunmen may be expanded on later but it just felt tacked on and a cheap way to stop Quinn from proposing. I really like Adama's actor, but here it feels like they're acting in a stage play so it feels a bit... off, but I'm down to see how that develops since I'm already more interested in these villains than last season's villain.
