They didn't kill the Doctor because the controller hid him in the games. She said they don't watch the games.

OK, so to answer a few of your questions (the non-spoiler ones): - Rose was laughing because for all she knew it was just a random gameshow across space and time with no consequences on her end, but once she realised what was going on she quickly stopped. The guy then says "oh my god, she *doesn't* know what's going on..." - The Doctor knew he wasn't going to die as he figured someone took him and wanted him to be there (the girl with all the wires attached to her, not the daleks - the daleks had no idea the doctor was there as she teleported them so they could help, and hid them in the games). - The Daleks forced her to teleport people across space rather than straight up killing them for the reason you'll find out next episode. With all that in mind, I'd personally rate this episode a 9. I love almost every aspect of it, and can't wait for your reaction to the finale, which in my mind is even better than this episode.

Yeah, the Controller (the girl) over-rid the controls when the staff tried to teleport him. The Daleks are just the masterminds giving out orders to the staff, who have no idea who or what the Daleks are, they're just getting orders from the "higher ups" (similar to 1x7).

keep them coming ;) The controller was installed by the Daleks to run the station for them as they controlled her, she was the only one semi aware of their existence but she could only think for herself during solar flares as this blocked out the Dalek signal. Gibbzee explains the rest (without spoilers). The thing with Doctor Who is that sometimes it doesn't make sense but other times it is very well crafted and on top of that what seem like plot holes are sometimes addressed in a future episode so it is a very difficult show to second guess. It is also difficult to comment on as well as you can miss important details while commenting in what appears to be just a random scene or dialogue. In short, expect anything and everything from this show as it can go from the sublime to the ridiculous and back again in a heartbeat . Lots of fun though.

Episode 7 is called The Long Game which is actually a really clever title once you know that this episode is what it meant. The Daleks were playing The Long Game. The Weakest Link was hosted by Anne Robinson, Big Brother at the time was hosted by Davina McCall and What Not to Wear was a fashion show hosted by Trinny and Susannah. All mainstream shows in the UK at the time and all four played these roles in this episode. That's why there's such a big thing about the word android because it's Anne-Droid. Love this episode a lot, very clever twists and turns but it does not age well haha. Ironically, none of these TV shows are shown in the UK anymore but I could imagine a reboot happening in the year 200,100!

I noticed that commenting problem as well. With the reactions I watch from your channel I basically know the episodes by heart. And I know when an important bit is coming. And sometimes you don't miss it because you don't know it's important but because you're still pondering a previous issue. I don't know how others feel but I wouldn't blame you if you pressed pause while commenting on something so that you don't miss these beats. :-)

rose laughed because they were answering questions wrong and she just thought it was a game so it was funny they were wrong. Then the people didn't say "she knows" they said "she doesn't know". Meaning she doesn't know if you lose you die. You just misheard it.
