I hate this for Maddie so much. She finally starts to feel comfortable, she decides she's ready to start dating Chimney, she's doing good. And then fucking Doug shows up and just destroys that safety. Ugh! Just fuck off, Douglas! No one wants you here! And poor Chim! First he gets rebar through the skull in S1, now he's been stabbed 3 times! I love getting to learn a little more about Athena with her parents visiting. Honestly, her Mum explains so much about her. Can see where she gets her stubbornness from... What she said to both Athena and Bobby was AWFUL though. She was definitely in the wrong. She doesn't get to come in and say Bobby's overstepping when she doesn't have the full picture. I CAN understand her being upset about not knowing about May's suicide attempt though. While I was with Athena in that she and Michael needed to focus on May, not on dealing with her, I do understand that it would be horrible to learn so long after the fact that your granddaughter tried to kill herself. But she was not their priority in that situation, and rightly so. I feel awful for those little boys. I can't even imagine what all that would feel like. Awful! I love the little scene with Buck and Maddie at the start though. Him teaching her to fight and teasing her about Chim. And just Buck wanting her to be prepared if Doug ever shows up (which, of course, he did... Ugh...) But also Maddie teasing him about Ali. It's just one of my favourite scenes with them. It's so light and fun, even with the first little bit with the mention of Doug. And I love that he's helping to make sure she can protect herself, instead of deciding to just be her bodyguard. They're just so sweet. I love them. The rest of the team up on the balcony when Maddie asks Chim out is hilarious though. I love them all so much. I commented on it on your last video, but I honestly don't feel that Bobby and Athena are that rushed. They've got a history, they've known each other a few years. Yes, they just started dating recently, but they've been friends a while. Plus they're both in their 50s and know what life is like and just don't wanna waste any time. I love it. I love seeing an older couple getting swept up in the romance of it all. I love them.
