I LOVE Maddie and Chimney. And I love that they're friends who are kinda dating but not pushing it to be more than they're ready for. Both of them know Maddie isn't ready to actually be in a relationship yet after JUST getting out of an abusive marriage of like 15 years, but they both like each other and are happy to just hang out and let it build into what it's supposed to be in time. And they communicate! I love that Chim went to talk to her and they just outright said how they're feeling. Chim let Maddie know that he didn't want to push her into something she's not ready for, but also that he IS interested and that everything with Doug wouldn't scare him off. And Maddie confirmed that she's not quite ready for actual dating yet, but IS interested. I just love them. And I love that Buck isn't against it. Like, he was a little weirded out, but I think that mostly came from shock because of the fact that he was hanging out with Chimney and suddenly Maddie is there and they know what each other orders and they have something they usually get at this place together and they've clearly been hanging out a lot and he just didn't know about it. But he doesn't actually have anything against the idea of them being together. There's nothing about him not thinking Chim is good enough for Maddie, or that he doesn't want his sister dating his coworker/friend. He's just surprised and a little weirded out at first. But in the end he's totally rooting for them. 🤣 I love scenes of the three of them so much though. And yeah, the whole Buck 1.0 and Buck 2.0 thing. He's really out here updating himself like an iPhone! 🤣🙄
