A little late, but I have a couple of ideas. Depending on the scenario, I'd vote for alternate expressions for the damsels too. Might be on the tougher side, but maybe there could be a before/after drawing. Something like the standalone damsel preview posts. The "before" pic could show the lady before getting captured (or in the middle of getting nabbed). The "after" pic could show the damsel either freed, getting freed, or accepting her captivity.
