No, this isn't an April Fools thing, despite the date it's taking effect.

Since the start of this year, I've been meaning to do a proper update to my Patreon page and change things that need changing. I've been putting it off quite a bit, though. My goal was to have an update video released by the end of March going through what needed to be stated, but the end of the month has once again snuck up on me faster than expected and I haven't had time to do that yet. I hope to do it in the next couple days.

The main thing that needs to be stated right now is that as of April 1st, any sort of physical rewards promised by the various donation tiers will no longer be offered. If you were a patron any time before that date that qualified for them, you are still entitled to them and I'll make an effort to get them out before the end of the year, but any new patrons from April onwards will not get any.

Other changes include:

- Patrons giving $5 or above will still be put in monthly credits, but I have stopped making them with the production value they used to have. They'll just be a simple list of names. (I still have a backlog for December, January, February, and March to list off, as well)

- The actual goals and promised amount of content are going to be toned down significantly. Currently, my schedule is one new public video per week, and one patron-exclusive video. I'm also releasing the previously-patreon exclusive ones at the same rate, so everybody gets two videos, but the general public is getting access to one of them about nine months late. The joke tier of "I'll make a new Zelda Classic quest if I make this lofty, unreasonable amount of money" is defunct because I'm actually (slowly) working on that anyway, and that's part of the reason for the lowered amount of content.

Overall, I want this to turn into more of a tip jar than anything I can consider a true "job". I do still plan to hold to my schedule and do my best to keep up with any promises I've made, but I've made it clear through my actions that I haven't been giving this the attention it deserves, and I don't want to continue neglecting it when it's something I should consider a major responsibility. I currently have no plans to stop producing content, and if you consider that worth donating towards, then I certainly appreciate it. I just want to make it clear that the actual "value" you'll be getting back is changing a bit (though more in the amount produced more than anything else, since the physical rewards were always a pretty small thing anyway). If that has an impact on whether or how you continue to support me, that is entirely up to you and don't want to give any kind of impression of selfishness or obligation.
