Lately, I've found myself really wanting to push my art in some different directions -- one of them is to get more stylized. I was thinking of stuff like PSG and Takehito Harada's work...something with simple figures, but still (hopefully) appealing and with strong shapes. I spent a couple days studying and then decided to test what I'd learned by drawing a Tharja without any references to fall back on. It was kind of a struggle this week, to be honest, but I did my best!

Fingers crossed that y'all still enjoy this one, even if it's a bit different! Tharja is always hot!

I love more stylized stuff like this, and you're right it's def a challenge to purposely shift your own work like that, best of luck it's already looking great!

I really dig this stylized style. And you also made it HOT xD

can't stop merchandising your art but this would make a good sticker

I personally love this sort of style where the proportions are fairly realistic, but mixed with some of that chibi exaggeration and cuteness. Excellent work on both these recent pieces!
