Maris (Original) (Patreon)

Another character from the light novel I'm brainstorming, "A Wizard Cursed Me and Now Monster Girls Find Me Irresistible". Maris, the fishwoman cleric!

Maris is a priestess of the Depths and a worshipper of She Who Slumbers. Or at least, she claims to be -- in truth, she doesn't really care about all that religious junk and finds it all a bit creepy. She joined the Church of the Depths because it seemed like an easy job where you get free housing and food, and they don't discriminate against monsters (unlike the "main" church in this world). Plus, they only hold services once a month on a full moon, so she gets lots of time to herself to laze about. 

She has a sharp tongue (and sharp teeth), but she's good at putting on an act when she needs to. She also holds a dark secret that not even SHE'S aware of...but that's a story for another time. :)

Just like Noxie, I think she's cute!
