I've been thinking a while about this and wanted to run the idea by everyone! For the sketchbook tier, I complete around 10 sketches each month and colour some of them. While this is fun, the number of them means I can't spend a ton of time refining the sketches to be more detailed, involve more characters, or have backgrounds/scenes going on because of the time involved. I would be interested in narrowing down the number of sketches I do to 5 quality, refined sketches involving more detailed scenes and more character, and then finishing one or two of these sketches in full colour. All this content would still be available within the 2$ tier.

I want to run this by everyone, to see if you'd prefer this or prefer to keep things the same, so I'm going to use a poll :) Feel free to comment if you have questions!

tl;dr voting quality over quantity would mean fewer individual drawings in the sketchbook tier, but the drawings would be of much higher quality and one or two would be finished and coloured. Choosing quantity over quality would mean you'd prefer things stay the same!

As its sketchbook, Id think it should stay as it is. Its sketches, not colored/finished artwork.

It would still be mostly sketches, but the sketches would be more involved and detailed, could involve more characters, and have a greater sense of depicting an actual scene. Having to do 10 sketches means I have to keep things fairly simple to get it all done in time (no bg's, can't really manage more than 2-3 characters in a drawing), and I'm not really challenging myself as a result.

I like both of the ideas, so I'd suggest doing both but on different months, such as every other month - as a longtime subscriber something a bit different of couse is more interesting too.

That's a cool idea, though, I think for ease of transparency it'd be easiest if I had the same amount of content each month? I may try and compromise by doing only slightly fewer sketches and making some of them simple and a couple complex? Something like that XP

I'm more partial to a higher number of sketches vs a lower number of refined sketches. I like seeing rough work and also enjoy more intimate solo and 1-on-1 character interactions. Another small factor is I feel there's a better chance for me to see images with subject matter that I prefer which is f/m, f/f, female solo and male solo. Comics are different to me because they have other things I can relate to and enjoy like story and character development.
