Okay, so!! This is it! The month I finally take a lil break! And guess what happened?

I caught covid. Was bound to happen, and frankly I'm surprised I hadn't already. But my ex got back from a trip to Ireland and despite immediately quarantining her and making her dispose of her garbage out the window so I could throw it away with gloves and mask on outside, I still caught ye olde 'rona! (This isn't advice to not be cautious, this is just me moaning about how unfair life is.) 

So. My trip is cancelled, my holiday is now a staycation. I'm still going to take next week off because I desperately need it! Since November, I've been balancing this patreon, my writing job with Wattpad, and my Pitch Wars/publishing responsibilities with my manuscript, but my personal life is also changing wildly. My medical transition is underway which has meant lots of consultations, blood tests, scary games of phone tag trying to get results, getting letters of reference for surgery etc. I also broke up with my gf of six years (amicably) and came out as gay to her and my whole family. This means I'll be moving back to Canada once I've had top surgery. This on top of the aforementioned Pitch Wars anxiety, getting agented, etc. That's just the tip of the personal life emotional rollercoaster! To say I'm exhausted would be a massive understatement.  I just submitted my revised MS to my agent, so hopefully that means I get a break from publishing work while on submission. 

Streams are going to be in the last two weeks of May as a result of my little holiday and this week getting taken up by covid and finishing my book. But I look forward to seeing you all when I'm feeling refreshed and less plague-y! So that said, here are the stream dates for this month.
