Weekend Doodles (Patreon)

I spent a good portion of the weekend watching Critical Role with my gf while doodling on the iPad, and I can't say I'm sad about the results. I think I've done more personal drawing in a single week than I've done in the past four months.

The first two are more explorations of my tiefling. Some possible casual-wear clothing designs, plus a profile portrait. I'm struggling to decide his class. I'm torn between barbarian and cleric; kinda want him to start as a cleric who's struggling to suppress his fury at a world that fears or snubs his kind and eventually snaps and becomes a blood-thirsty barbarian instead, but I don't know how that would work and frankly don't know what the hell I'm doing. I just like the idea of this really angry cleric who's eye is constantly twitching and when shit hits the fan he's like 'I'm gonna go...pray' *screams into the abyss* On the flip side I'd also love to play a bard who just prances around flinging insults at the enemy while playing a jaunty diddy on a hang drum, but I don't know if that's the role for this particular character. Basically, I think it would be great to have this tall, scrawny thing running into battle with a two-handed battle-axe and I'm here for the aesthetic. I'm thinking his name is going to be 'Dauntless.'

Then I got some mermaid/man siren things? I like doodling merpeople but I almost never do it during MerMay when I really should. It's coming up so maybe!! This time I will participate in a hashtag 8| 

Then the last two are some characters from the book I'm writing. Briar expressions and two varieties of cuddle between Rowan and Briar. A sombre toned one, and an enthusiastic/happy toned one. Rowan, you're too damn big, it is impossible to pose you with Briar and get the scale right. Help me.
