Spring is almost here, though temperature and the amount of green on the ground is probably pretty variable for some of us. I'm looking forward to getting a bit more sunshine in the days to come, what about you?

Here's what else we have in store for March on Patreon!

APRIL BACKLOG BUILD

I've reached the end of my backlogged thumbnails, which means a month of request streams is coming this April! For those new to the patreon, when I reach the end of the thumbnails I've planned for the comics, I take a month off from completing pages to plan the next 10-12 updates of both comics. These thumbnails serve as blueprints and help to streamline the process so I'm not struggling to write, thumbnail and complete pages simultaneously. I do a bunch of request streams (more than usual) to make up for the lack of comic updates. These will likely be the last pages of The Sword of Souls too, which is crazy to think about!

STREAMING DATES

Thursday the 4th @2PM GMT - Cinderfrost Page

Friday the 12th @8PM GMT - Request Stream

Thursday the 18th @2PM GMT - The Sword of Souls Page

MARCH MORNING SKETCHES

I'm going to be doing really quick sketches every morning in March and posting them on Mondays. The idea is to help me loosen up and do things that are just fun, playful or experimental in nature and see what happens. It's very hard for me to get out of the mindset of finishing everything, and that can lead me to really stiff drawing for me. We'll see how this goes towards helping me loosen up :P If you want to join me in this challenge and post your sketches in the discord, please do! (If one a day is too much, make it something more manageable like 1-2 a week; I know I'll probably miss a few days myself because life just be like that sometimes ;))

I was just telling a friend I gotta work on drawing something every day. Just a little hard when my "quick sketches" take like half the day to do hahaha

I feel you there! I think it helps to make a time limit? Like, 30 mins tops, and not to pressure yourself to make something GOOD. Just loose. Usually starting with reference? I dunno that sometimes helps me when I let go of the idea that every single one has to be good. XD
