“Hope what the hell” 😂😂😂😂 my exact reaction when I first watched

In my opinion they didn’t really mourned Kol. But I always blamed that on the writing, and them preparing for season one of the originals than the characters themselves. I understood that the TVD clan was protect by the main character clause but you would think that Klaus would had try to kill them more than once for that. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I think after immediately trying kill Elena and Jeremy, he mentions the fact that they killed his brother once to Damon in 4x16. Elijah never got to mention it. Not even when Elena told him that Katherine indirectly killed Jeremy. I don‘t think Rebekah mention it more than once. It got brushed under the rug pretty fast.

Respectfully you compare klaus’s never killing his siblings and Finn putting a death curse on Kol as a major difference but before the orginals all klaus did was torment his siblings, ofc they had good times but once klaus threw a fit he chose to dagger, torture and torment his siblings, just as Finn has been doing with the few moments he’s been alive in the orginals and klaus had his siblings love all those years, Fin never did . Sure Finn is evil for doing what he did to kol but klaus isn’t far from it for daggering his siblings constantly to the point where they’ve all hated him for it. Mostly Kol and Finn who have been daggered for hundreds of years at a time, and Finn for 900 years, at that point he might as well killed him because being daggered isn’t a walk in the park and is constant agony and agony once you wake. All the siblings are evil in there own way they’ve all done unspeakable acts the only difference is the show shines a special light on the main 3 orginals so the excuses for their actions is accepted more over the Finn and Kol because they have every right to do what they’re doing but because the show shines them as villains we don’t accept their excuses. Klaus isn’t viewed as the evil sibling because of the orginals, have to understand the orginals show in the shows timeline is only a few years thus far, klaus is viewed as a n Evil villain for the past 1,000 years of unspeakable and unfair things he’s done

I was also happy to see kol turn around, and be able to rebond with his siblings. Sometimes it really shows that he was the baby of the siblings. Also I cannot stand Finn lol or their parents. But I think the actor who plays Mikael does amazing at his role. I also agree the actress playing Rebecca did really well portraying her!

That last scenes is one of my favourites from this universe, the focusing on Elijah’s hands, but not because of his bloodlust, but because of his ring. Then Hope stopping the car was the cherry on top for how amazing that scene was!

yeah it's main character blindness. people loved to do it with damon and stefan for whose better but really they are both terrible people.

Victor

Yeah, that’s why I can’t watch reactions to TVD as it hurts watching Damon Stan’s justifying every bad decision he makes, and Vise Versa with Stefan Stans 😅 the feud between the two with the fans ruined it for me

Yeah my mind goes to the scene where they’re on the island trying to find the cure and Rebekah says to Stefan “Elena helped kill not one but two of my brothers maybe we’re not so different then everyone’s making us out to be.” Other then the look on all the originals faces after they found out I don’t remember them ever really mourning kol.
