I've been working on getting the old Shantae model I use back in working order in preparation for a commission, and figured I'd finally try to make her appear a little closer to how she's depicted in the games. While the original model is very well made, considering my namesake I've never quite been satisfied with my previous Shantae work since it never quite felt like the character.

For the model edits and materials, I aimed for a decent mix between the various Shantae art styles, with heavy inspiration from Pirate's Curse and Seven Sirens. While I was limited in what I could do overall with my lackluster abilities, I'm quite happy with the results regardless! Expect to see a lot more of her going forward.

This animation was done as a quick test, both to try out the rig along with getting in some practice since I've never attempted to animate dancing before. I ended up being pretty happy with the end result, so I touched it up with a quick background and some effects. Enjoy!
