Only now became a patron, so apologies if this has been said before. Just turn on upfront payment (idk how you do it, but it's an option). This will take care of the patrons who enter in any tier they like and leave before the next payment date without paying anything.

I wish more creators would do upfront payment. I don't like backing someone early in the month and knowing that it won't mean anything until the next month comes around.
