If CC was overthought then Pocket Portal is the underthought mirror. It's a better tale overall, with a decent catharsis but has even more problems. For one the Stepford characters at least were primary participants in the last story, now Mindee the ditzy one plays coy in a wildly irrational plot. It's probably a bad idea to bring up consent, where that it also feels like a retcon, in a story that leaves no doubt. The worst part is the best part of the story, where the main couple are just two people alone on a bed having a chat. It seems fun and sexy and something that doesn't need outsiders or spicing up to feel interesting, funny, and emotional. It's the sort of big name pairing that would really work in a straight one-on-one. Mindee just feels like a straw drawn out of a hat, an extra naughty layer that is rather blase. Maybe this is table setting wherein the sisters each develop a stronger personality while advancing the general plot for a proper Kitty/Magik explosion.
