The story was interesting but as small as it was I'll never say no to more Symbiote action

I'll be the first to admit, that while I'm not the biggest fan of Mary Jane Watson in most comics, there's something uniquely special about the Spinneret version of her that just ticks all the right boxes and has me coming back time and time again wanting more, and this one ticked each of them perfectly, that and I live and breathe to have more of Anna-May Parkers Spiderling appear in Tracy's comics, which is why it should come as probably no surprise to find that this is the one I've looked forward to the most out of the delayed batch 👌 spectacular artwork, great premise, and the sensual game of "come catch me tiger" was the perfect reintroduction to these newer comics that I didn't even know I needed untill I got it 😄 11/10, easily worth the wait twice over Trace 😇

Definitely my favorite of 2 this month! Love seeing Anna-May! Deserves a 3rd instalment!

Just another Monday

I love the Peter/MJ focus, but the phone plot was fire. "It's like watching *four young* Mary Janes going at it." is so true and so hawt. Now I'm eager for a part 3 with all Parkers. Such a hot story, worthy of a 11/10 for getting all these characters and upping the intensity of the situation.

In another belated sequel, just one month from four years ago, Scions 2 hits and hits weird. It tells one good story that is dependent on another wildly different story emotionally. Like many split stories where the action happens simultaneously it just doesn't quite add up to a sum of its parts. In my first reading I mostly concentrated on the foursome as I mainly keyed on the sequel sequel aspect and wanted to see where the sister where at. Sans any dialogue this didn't add up to much. When I re-read it I found myself enjoying the MJ scenes much more, with the excellent titjob and skyward striptease connecting very well. His inability to stop looking as MJ nonchalantly goes ultra is a fascinating look into guilt and shame. This drops the book to merely okay, as it can be read as a naughty couples story or a searing psycho drama but not so much both at the same time. The tease probably should have happened at page six so there could have been an emotional catharsis with the characters united maybe with Annie on cinematography duty.
