UPCOMING BIG CHANGE: Upfront payments! (Patreon)

Hello, my dearsome readers!

Great news!
At the turn of the current month, my patreon campaign will work under Upfront Payments!
Wait... what is upfront payments, you say?
More on that below...

For years and a large number of reasons, I've struggled about making that change.
But I think the time has come to stop the increasing number of unfaithful pledgers.

So, starting November 1st, all pledges will be processed and paid the moment you sign up for it. You'll then continue to be billed monthly at the 1st day of the month until you cancel your pledge (that's an important information, so keep that in mind).

What does that mean, effectively?
Well, that depends if you're currently a patron and what tier you're pledging for. 

• SUBSCRIBER and SUBSCRIBER +PLUS tiers:

- If you're a current patron, nothing changes for now. If all goes well, the only expected change for early 2022 is that I plan on having the release date earlier in the month as it used to be. 

- If you're a new patron (or returning patron), you'll receive the comics of the month. If you pledge before their release, you'll have to wait until they're finished. If you pledge after they're released, you'll receive them shortly after your payment is confirmed.

• RECAPPER ($5, $15 and $20) tiers:

- If you're a current patron, nothing changes for now. You'll receive your selection forms by the 5th day of the month and your rewards should be sent with the monthly releases by the 15th, as usual.

- If you're a new patron (or returning patron), you'll receive the selection forms shortly after your payment is confirmed, and your rewards will be sent shortly after. Just be aware that if your selection includes one of the new monthly releases, you may have to wait until their release date to receive ALL your rewards together.

• COLLECTOR and +PLUS JACKPOT! tiers:

- If you're a current patron, nothing changes for now. The bundle is sent by the 5th of the month, with the exception of the new releases, which are sent separately after, the day they are released (currently the 15th of the month).

- If you're a new patron (or returning patron), the bundle will be sent shortly after your payment is confirmed. If you pledge late in the month, you'll receive the pack with all comics. If you pledge early in the month, before the new monthly comics are releases, the pack will have all but these new comics, which will be sent separately after, the day they are released (currently the 15th of the month).

Very important note!!!
If you pledge in the last days of the month, you'll have to be prepared to be charged again at the turn of the month, for the same amount. That's NOT a double charge. That's two charges for two different terms. 

• Example 1: You pledge for a Recapper Tier at  Nov, 29th. That will grant you a selection form for November. You'll then be charged again by Dec 1st, which will grant you a selection form for December.
• Example 2: You pledge for a Subscriber Tier at  Nov, 29th. That will grant you the comics for November. You'll then be charged again by Dec 1st, which will grant you the comics for December.

However, be aware that for the Full Bundle high-tiers, this may be considered a redundant charge, so I'll try and contact any late month pledgers about that, in that short window before the month turns.

That's it.
Once I make that change, it can't be reversed. Patreon won't let me.

No system is perfect, but I think this one will benefit the great majority of patrons. These changes seem complicated, but in fact they make for a much quicker access for older rewards, which is a long-awaited request from patrons.

And hopefully, that'll help me focus more energy into keeping the production line of comics in order.
