Just another Monday

Gorgeous work. I love how Felicia is low key yandere, still working on her feelings for Peter. The sex is wild and the intensity is great, as well as the romantic moments of Black Cat's little get hitched scheme. The scene in the room was superb, and single handedly the best sex I read so far. Lety really writes Felicia well with her emotions on Peter, and the sex they have is just as well written.

So I finally got to read this and I gotta say it was better than I expected. Black Cat was the star of this book and she had surprisingly good character development here. The juxtapposition of playfulness, nervousness, confidence, insecurity, sex-appeal and intimacy was really well done.

Well this month wasn't a massive disappointment, for the first time in a while, but with little to recommend. The Nuptials of Black Cat was a painfully dry read, brilliantly drawn but hamfistedly blunt. It re-imagines Felicia as a bitter and jealous woman completely centered on MJ, who dominates by absence. The fun and romantic antics of the issue are present but muted by this take, and this is worsened by the large number of higher quality issues with Hardy as the featured player. In point of fact this is another limited issue quick parody that adapts a recent camp issue into a somewhat minor work. There have been issues like this in the past and each time it gets softer results. This wasn't as good as Porn of the Realms which was a hair below Whoreines for Hire which was way below Ghost vs Goblin. What made the one of these that worked the best (in all of 2019 this was my favorite) GvG work was that the minor issue parodied delivered a pairing that was beyond due and lead to an unexpected trio that was dynamite. Here the story leads to a very covered pairing that spends way too much time referencing the source. In keeping the camp clothing shedding scene it cuts out the possibility of the betrothed getting down in wedding regalia. It jumps to a conclusion that really should have either been the one page capper or the middle of the book.

Loved it. I love how Peter and Felicia are together in this one, I ship them. The art was amazing.
