You know, tentacles are not my favorite thing but this is alright. I guess what made it so tolerable for me is the amazing artwork. The story was also fine and I really like the symbiotes speech. I thought it was really fun. I also liked the dialogue from all the girls. All in all, I thought this turned out to be a great read. Thanks and Happy Holidays!

I think it is less tentacles element than you think inside the story

I loved this one. Llamaboy draws tits amazingly well, I've been staring at MJ's since the preview came out. And go figure my girl Felicia is there waiting for it. More like this please!

Alien Lovers: Tentacle Sleeves is a book that rails against itself, its literally my second favorite book of the year and I also slightly despise it. It so vehemently doesn't want to be anything like its straight forward plot that it is made into nothing. It features artwork that is immaculate that is begging for a story that resists being born. To be absurdly honest on page two after the gwelp panel I initially stopped reading, content to live in a headspace where this symbiote would have teeth and a pulse pounder was coming. Seeing the next panel hope died, especially if MJ the closest to Pete going all in there was no way Felicia would resist at all. Every page unfolded in my mind without a need to read. It was a bone to hard fans but one made of rubber. It was the perfunctory symbiote issue. Take the three opening solo scenes, all feature a panel of shock, ahegao, and nerves with the ONLY difference being order ( MJ NSA, GS NAS, FH ASN) because those are bare elements that need to be in there for "those people" that want this content. It promises a sequel but leaves nowhere to go, beyond impossible for it to be any better than the current arc. Again this is my number two issue this year, but really it won't crack my top ten overall. Spidey walks in on his current love and two closest partners being restrained and ejaculated by a representation of his worst nightmare and was mildly peeved/aroused. Perhaps the greatest reality is that the symbs compliments ring as hollow, halfhearted attempts to enjoy this the best he (we in a metatext) can whereas his complaints are precise and deeply felt. If the sequel actually comes please let it be a flashback to Otto with MJ/Felicia as he enjoys Gwen in the present, but thats a story that can be told anywhere and not just in 696.

Could I/we see a list of your top ten? I’m really interested, since you always write such detailed analysis.

No problem, this shifts a bit but currently I have and why briefly: 1. Outerspace Groupie: The ultimate issue, succeeds as a horror or action story all on its own, born out of the pages of Venom's origin, utilizing an all too nightmarish outcome of superheros and multiverse jumping, with two whole scenarios that could fill out their own books easily, and a triumphant ending that I can only ding for its sleepy MJ bucket of ice water. 2. Our Valentine: Fun, cheeky, and sexy this Archie inflected romp features the big three swinging even if it is a bit light on porn. 3. Ghost Vs Goblin: MJ and Gwen just seem to be untoppable in these top 3, this romantic farce is only hampered by a random straight comedy scene. 4. Ragnarok: Shockingly the best MCU story (still no MJ, Betty or Thanos in Tracyverse), Hela's blood boils until she gets cooked in a story with a tenuous Pete addition. 5. X Psycho Nymphos: A penetrating look at two X Women psychics, not something I wanted until I read it and then needed more. 6. Hitting the Potts: A truly weird trio that nailed the milf and bondage themes exquisitely. 7. Revenom: Naughty Felicia way in over her head, lightly plotted but extreme in scenario. 8. Spidercest 6: A culmination of the Bed Saga, a height Spidercest never hit again and a great example of sequels to good stories getting better. 9. Banginjet: Greatest OCs and a great deconstruction of modern porn, sadly gets worse as it goes on instead of better. 10. Spider Lovers Club: A great yuri tale, outfits and nightclub setting nail a tone, Spidey becomes its Poochie though.

I will echo some of the other readers in saying that I thought the art was great but the subject matter was not really something I am into. That said, as far as tentacle/symbiote stories go, this wasn't too bad.

Two particular super hot panels were Venom cumming out of Black Cat's nostrils and MJ arching her back on the final page. Great art and writing as always.
