As we get to the end of my second full month on Patreon, I'd like to thank every one of you guys and gals for your amazing support.

As many of you know, moving to Patreon was a last effort to keep my projects going on, after so many troubles and bad news.

I came an inch close to giving all up, but in the end, I'm now more prolific than I ever was.

Really:
Thank you.

I will also take this opportunity to share a thought I came across some weeks ago.
These are not my own words, but Id like to really make them mine right now:

(…)

I wish that people would stop associating NSFW art of something with “dirty” and “disrespectful” and start seeing it as a sign that someone REALLY likes something.

Maybe I'm just way too sex positive but when I make porn of a character or something it’s personally the absolute highest level of respect I can give to it because I'm associating it with pleasure.

I’m not sitting here rubbing my hands together like “hmmm how can I CORRUPT and DEFILE this media”…

I'm thinking:
“Wow! I really like this! It would be great if I could enjoy this in an erotic manner as well!”

I’m absolutely not talking down to anyone who is repulsed by sex or asexual.Ii understand their feelings and they are valid.

I’m just talking about that, in the general scheme of things, I wish sex and erotica (specially drawn erotica!) weren’t immediately seen as disrespectful/gross/nasty/unspeakable.

(…)

How do you feel about it?

I feel like on some levels that it's a calculated thing. That things that are even a little taboo sell better. And people can also therefore sell things to us using it better. I'm not saying it's a conspiracy. But that the kind of people that could help change how we view sex have a vested interest in keeping things as is.

There's that too. I realize that forbidden fantasies may tickle people in their special places. And as long as it remains in the fantasy realm, I'm all up for it. But I do think that if we lived in a society that had their praise for generally accepted entertainment violence switched for sex, it would at least make more sense. Think of it: How many videogames with fantasy violence are PG rated (mario and zelda even)? What if it was fantasy sex instead of violence? Can you imagine that world?

Your way of thinking shines through everything you do, Tracy. That's why the moment I stumbled upon your work for the first time I just could feel that your mind-set is right. The thought of you ever even thinking about giving up on your work is frightening. Don't you dare. ever. If not for yourself then for the rest of us. We can quite literally change this world into something better.

Since I have your sword and you have mine (surprisingly with no pun intended), let's together free the world from the tyranny of sexual censorship, one project at a time.
