I'd love to see some prog metal at some point, maybe Dream Theater or Periphery, those genres of music have a LOT to talk about, from time signatures, whacky chords, or song structure.

I recommend something from "808s & Heartbreak" by Kanye West. He's mostly singing with autotune on that album, but it has hip-hop elements such as guest rap verses and the TR-808 drum machine. Welcome to Heartbreak and Street Lights are two particularly good songs from 808s.
