I love that this movie still holds up. As I got older I caught all the innuendos. I love that it takes jabs at Disney, especially CEO Michael Eisner aka Lord Farquaad (F**kwad) with whom Jeffrey Katzenberg (Shrek producer) had a bitter falling-out.

Pretty sure there's a mid or post credit scene in Shrek 2 at least. I can't remember if Shrek 3 and 4 have any or not. Also, hilarious how Alyce was thinking of Jamie Lannister when hearing Farquad...wait til she sees Prince Charming. I wonder if the GoT people had that look in mind for Jamie?
