My first ever Daz3D Render. Well, they call it Daz Studio now. I played around with a really old version back in Uni but nothing ever came of it and I never took it that serious enough to learn.

Well, this is the result, the first one of me just learning some basics, a lot of googling and some Youtube videos.

The reason I do this is that I feel it's important NOT to be stagnant and to keep improving. Now as far as AAA game studio standard Daz would be laughed at. It's not Blender, or Maya, or 3dsmax etc etc (although I have Blender installed too) but Ideally I want to continue to learn it, at the minimum because it improves my skills and at maximum because it enables me to potentially put out some better stuff in the future.

17/10/2021 01:08. My first published Daz Studio Render. *sniff*

OTHER STUFF:

I also have books that I bought but I didn't really have the time when I got them, I was just building up my patreon and I was working 2 jobs at the time. Now though I do want to improve and round off my skills. Some of these are getting old too and I want to get my money's worth:

John M Blain The Complete Guide To Blender Graphics [3rd Ed 2016] CRC Press
Darrin Perez Beginning RPGMaker MV [2nd Ed 2016] Apress
Lee Anne Phillips Using HTML 4 [4th Ed 1998] QUE
Harley Hahn The Unix Companion [1995] Mcgraw Hill
RB Whitaker The C# Players Guide [3rd Ed 2017] Starbound
TJ O'Connor Violent Python [2013] Elsevier Inc
Michael Dawson Python Programming [3rd Ed 2010] Cengage Learning
Joseph Hocking Unity In Action [2015] Manning
Ben Tristem Unity Game Development in 24 Hours [2nd Ed 2016] SAMS

I really want to continue my development and I feel like some of these will help to be more well-rounded. They all sort of feed into each other I think. Anyway, back to making the video....

Looks good. Some of my other creators used Daz before switching to Blender. Truthfully, I can't tell the difference. I guess Blender makes it easier, has alot prerigged.

looks good, hope it makes things easier for you. You know, work smarter not harder
