This is actually the first time we hear Marianne say she loves Connell. Every time Connell has said he loves her she has never said anything back. I imagine this was probably something in Connell’s head at times when he was overthinking

I remember this show came out during covid and feeling super isolated and being in awe of these two performances. Just a story about how someone can change ur life in every aspect is super rare and beautifully portrayed. Hits u right in the feels. Thanks for reacting, it was a real treat
