Just to let you know: you guessed right. The vault songs are songs that were written for the album but scrapped for various reasons (just know on top of my head that from the album red some songs like "Babe" stayed in the vault cause it was to similar or thematically just like another song) so similar reasons like that or that it were just too many songs were the reason these songs stayed in the "vault". Taylor used the opportunity of re-recording the records to include these songs.

Just to clarify!! Breathe: is about a lost friendship, that can be harder than a break up to let go of. You feel like you can’t breathe The Way I Loved You: is about two opposite guys- one is perfect and treats her well (but bores her pretty much 😆) and the other guy who she fights with (but has more passion with)

Can't wait for Speak Now! When you listen to The Story of Us there's a music video but can you also listen all the way through taylors version? In my opinion its wayyy better then the original.

Did anyone mention “forever and always” and “superstar” is about Joe Jonas, along with more but those two I’m positive with. Forever and always was put on the album last Taylor said after Joe Jonas broke up with her over the phone in like a minute bc he wanted to get with another girl lol she said it on the Ellen show
