I think what irks me the most is that Jeremiah knew Belly has liked Conrad for a very long time. It was said that the whole family knew about her crush on Conrad for years. He inserted himself into Belly romantic life. Yes Belly indeed used him as a backup, but for him to be so deeply upset over her eventually choosing Conrad was over dramatic . And then to hold a grudge and hold Belly and Conrad’s happiness hostage for months after the fact, I just think that is wrong.

I’ve decided the acting isn’t always the problem in the show. It’s just the dialogue they give them sometimes gives them little to work with. In my opinion, the actors who play Belly and Laurel are the best by a pretty large margin.
