i hate that the writers have no idea what to do with damon that they dont care to destory his development. This is giving s2 damon when he snapped jeremy's neck after elena said "its always gonna be stefan." I personally dont think hes the same damon from then on but they wanna rewrite the same tatic of him being like this after elena is annoying to me. He can have fun and pretend to not care without using jeremy to hurt elena. Doesn't make sense to me when he was literally couple episodes ago panicking that jeremy "died" after the car accident.
