ALSO,, after this episode aired, a lot of people were saying that jeremiah's feelings for belly came out of nowhere and im just like??? are we watching the same show or? I feel like the writers made it very obvious that jer had a thing for belly. the camera was always panning to him subtly looking at belly, like at the beach, and in the car when they were going on a muffin run and when he was teaching belly how to drive. when jer saw belly and cam at the party together and ran into the room to do karaoke and get belly's attention. && cam literally asked belly if jer had a thing for her LOL. jeremiah > conrad for me anyyyy day.

I think maaaaybe there was meant to be an element of surprise there, ngl. If you pay close enough attention, you'd be able to pick up on the lingering looks and moments of jealousy with Cam Camceron as signs that Jeremiah likes Belly, but I think most of the audience either didn't pinpoint it or brushed it off as him just being his usual, flirtatious self. So the firework moment kind of felt like a, "ohhh shit, so he really likes Belly, too???"twist in the season. That doesn't necessarily mean his feelings weren't there before, just that it's finally being pushed to the forefront of the story now.
