Silas’ humor is like Paul’s humor in real life lol I know he loved playing parts like that or when stefan had no humanity in season 3.

Yeah there is a shift in the show this season so far In my opinion. we are learning so many new rules and different types of supernatural like the travelers and all these damn dopplegangers and you kinda just have to go with it and trust that it’ll grow on you or else you might get suuuuper annoyed by it haha. your feelings on it are valid though.

I personally love all seasons, i dont think there is a bad one cuz they all have different storylines, obvi you can pick more faults in one season compare to your favorite season like alot of people dont like s7/s8 and its not my favorites but it does have interesting storylines but you can pick more faults about those two compare to the eariler seasons. I like how this season continues the supernatural explore that season 4 brought into the series, it gives a teen wolf vibe like how season 1 of TW you think its just a bunch of werewolves but then as you go more into the series the supernatural world expands and i love that cuz i wouldnt prefer the show to just be twilight w vampires/werewolves. I think the travelers are interesting, not my favorite but they do stand out compare to others because they are so different. I will say that the more you rewatch the more you'll notice too many rules they made ended up contriditing the contradicting season rules. I will mention one when we get to an upcoming season that eariler they said wasnt capable of happening but thats what happens when you expand rules lol

100% agree, if youre open to the idea of the supernatural expanding and less lovey dovey storylines, you wont find new species in both vampire and witch world annoying. I noticed a lot of people who find it annoying were cuz they liked the stories just bout the love triangle and the two main species of the show being the villains and they weren't open to the idea of it expanding beyond what season 1-3 gave.
