Ugh every episode from now on in my opinion is just a banger - and every episode makes me cry (but that's not new lol) There's just a sense of finality to it all that feels so heavy to me. I'll never forget when I first watched all these episodes (and the show as a whole really). Fucking amazing show

I completely agree on the Kate front - yes Toby has some points about money, and of course he is allowed to be happy, but he is completely disregarding Kate's points about Jack and their family and her job, and making decisions without her. And Kate's pattern her whole life is to never dream, and never go for things and always be a doormat and think she isn't worth anything, so for her to finally grow past all that (which we have witnessed over the course of the show) is just amazing. Kate was never my favourite character, but I have absolutely loved her growth and she is so strong in season 6 which I love. It's so hard when looking back on Kate and Toby's relationship, and all the great moments they've had, but also witnessing them slowly growing apart over the last few seasons.

I don't know what about those final scenes that made me tear up a little, I usually never do with Kate but I think I'm fully realizing the tragedy with her character with how many times she doubts herself and pushes her hopes and dreams to the side. That "Why would I?" line is both wholesome but heartbreaking at the same time in the grand scheme of things, shows why she struggled so hard with moving on after her dad died, and why she put off getting healthier for so long. I dare say this may be her season in terms of the big 3 and their storylines, I think Randall and Kevin have kind of ruled the seasons for a while, so it's nice that they get to flesh her out some more.
