I don't think we ca blame the Sheriff in this episode, he's dad has Dementia and is clearly an unpleasant person to be around. Poor Sheriff, knowing how his wife died and then finding out his dad had it too.

just remember the nurse in 6x02 that Lydia was chasing and remember the old lady Lydia saw in this episode. so that you notice why they showed those two
