Since my last day at EZA is May 1st (and I’m wrapping up my last pre-recorded Cup that day) that means there are 5 episodes after this one. Here’s a quick rundown of what those episodes will be called and what they’ll be about. These will all be for $1 Patrons and above. Because I can’t always control what days I’ll be in the hospital with Milo and what days I’ll be home and able to livestream, I’ll move away from Monday if need be. I’ll indicate what/where ASAP the weekend before.

I might have met some legendary people like Stan lee and Arnold Schwarzenegger. But there is still a legend I have yet met and that person is you! I grew up with Gametrailers, so I have been listening to that great voice of yours for 20 years. Take good care of yourself and your dearest. Do you have any request to be sent to the P.O. Box? Lots of ❤️ from Norway

Hello Brandon. Before I get to the actual question, I want to first say thank you for what you have done for games' critique. It truly feels like you and Gametrailers helped to pioneer some of the best in games' criticism and journalism that helped the industry bloom into what it is today. I can also say, almost without a doubt, that you have had a major impact on many of the younger voices in journalism and criticism, in the games industry and beyond. At the very least, you are, in no small terms, an inspiration to me in pursuing critiuqe as a part of my career. And I can never thank you enough for that. I know it might seem easy to discount yourself and immediately point to the others in the room, the rest of the Allies and those who worked at GameTrailers. And while they undoubtedly had an impact, don't forget that someone had to start it and someone had to lead them. So first and foremost, thank you. On a more somber note, I want to ask a question that others might have already asked in this Cup or that many others are likely thinking: was there any worry in your mind on how this might affect Easy Allies? I will be honest, I love each and every Ally (and that weird cousin named Kyle I think one of you had), but upon hearing of your retirement the thought crossed my mind: will I still be able to enjoy EZA content without Jones? I don't want to downplay the achievements of the other Allies, in any way shape or form. But... you are kind of the face, or at least voice, of the channel. And even if you still do occasional voice overs, it won't be the same. Of course I know that you had to think about how this would affect EZA. Its too big of a shift to not think about it. But, in this safe sapce of coffee and smooth jazz, are you worried at all? Or if that's too serious or somber of a topic, I apologize for bringing it up and I offer a simple and delightful quote to end this on: "Life's like a movie, write your own ending. Keep believing, keep pretending." Love & Respect, always and forever papa Jones, spongejay1
