I was super glad to have my friend Taylor back in LA in July, after she did a 6 month stint in Portland for a job.  So we made a plan weeks before she returned to go hiking when she got back.  Of course I took her to my secret canyon, and we took the time naked sunbathing to catch up on all that had happened since she left.  After getting warmed up in the sun we took to the stream's little pools to cool off and make some pictures! 

All spring Taylor had been seeing my photos and videos of the California newts in the local streams, and her main goal was to see and hold one. The mission was accomplished with lots of pics of Taylor clearly enjoying meeting a new friend. Then I made she she also met a frog and a snake.  Its become somewhat of a ritual have people check out these typical secret canyon denizens.
