Welcome to this month's briefing!

I'll start with a rant, since I'm rather miffed at the fact the comic isn't ready for tonight, but I really do wish every month was 31 days long -.-

All the frames are ready (as The Board will notice in the ultrapack) but Illustrator became positively bogged down today between all the text layers and image frames, so I think I'm gonna transfer the file over to the new rig and finish it there.

Speaking of the new rig, thankfully so far so good! Zero crashes so far, so I will be slowly migrating my workflow onto it hopefully throughout October (I've just been using it as a render slave this month, since with the work load I knew I couldn't spare any time installing software, setting up file libraries, etc. etc.).

I do feel like I need to work on my interior render-fu a bit more, however. While the output this month was pretty nice (and like 99% of it being interior renders), I feel I can push it further, just...gotta...figure...some...things... out!

I have to admit I've been having fun with Denise so far. I know it's way tamer than my usual stuff, but starting from zero with a girl is always fun and exciting :)

On that note, you'll notice in the pinups Dani got rewarded by Mr. Montgomery with an initial dose of Nereidyl (what strain? Who knows!) for being so awesome in helping me sort out the mountain of work I've done over the past few years.

Now, hopefully all work is much easier to access via the tagging system patreon has, although I do hope at some point they integrate some sort of gallery system onto the platform, would make things way easier for everyone, I think.

So October is now up, and that means throwing spooky stuff into the mix! I'm thinking of a few things that I won't go into just yet, since some may be a bit of a surprise, some I'll need a few days to figure out, and the rest will be up on the next "Coming up this month" post (which by the way will continue to be a feature every month now).

I do think, at the very least, I'm looking at finishing plastic obsessions 002 in comic format in the next 2 days (3 in case i pass out too long tonight, have barely slept this past week ^^;), finishing up the frames and comic for 003 after polling is done, and next on the chopping block will be the frames for Welcome to Unreality 001 and at least the writeup for WtU 002.

Oh yeah, before I sign off I did want to comment on the VR poll I did. It looks like the overall majority is pretty meh on the idea of VR still, and I get it. However, there's like 20 of you that did like concept, so I'll try to sneak through a VR render here and there when possible (I may revisit Jessica's renders this month since that scene is already set up in first person, and should make for a trippy VR image!).

I do want to do something animated though, just gotta find some time for it... we'll see.

Anyways, enough rambling for the night. As always I hope you like the round of work this month, and thanks so much for pitching in your support to make it happen :)

Ah, ok I downloaded VR Photo Viewer and took a look at the Emi photo. Very nice! I think you're right that a first person view would look pretty cool.
