"- A great beast was coming after the call of this chime..."

One of giants of old-old times.

It was mostly a cargo bearing being, made to carry tremendous weights after it's masters. It's horns were adorned in many tiny chimes of craft so fine that they sang even under tough of a snowflake on windless day.

Beast followed the call of such chime for it could hear it anywhere, should wind blow - such was the way to call the titan, if one ended up lost in snows.

 And beast always came.

In days of yore ancestors of Seven Families were writing pieces of "self" for special beasts on Calligraphy tablets, etched and buried somewhere deep within their bodies. A rare sight nowadays, for nostalgia is forgotten for sake of effectiveness. Though still, still...

That "self" was written in a form of a touching rhyme, known only to one who crafted the vidax.

And every rhyme always ended in "I shall always be at thy side."

"Thus I shall bear thy burden, I always follow the wind unshackled. I shall always come, should it be thy call in wind's voice. I shall always be at thy side."
