Just a headsup - boring sales tax stuff - nothing should change (Patreon)

Hi guys, 

If you're a Patron with anyone else you've probably seen that Patreon is being forced to add what is referred to as Sales Tax - HOWEVER know that this should not affect anyone supporting on my Patreon from what I have understood. I have updated my settings, so nothing should change for anyone.

In places like the UK we generally add tax before sale already on to products and services, however other places like in the US and others like I think Australia for some reason decide to do this at a more regional level, and so have slightly different systems - and this always annoys me when I go to the US lol because what you see on a shelf is usually not what you actually end up paying.

Its all very boring. 

Short version is that although this is being applied to Patreon - nothing should change for any of you guys as you are providing what they refer to as 'General Support'. I could go into more detail but Patreon has got reams of tedious explainers.

Basically nothings changing, let me know if it does for you, but I do not anticipate into next month anything changing, but wanted to be responsible and give you guys a headsup.
