Patreon is staying put (Nothing is changing) (Patreon)

Hey guys, if you hadn't seen recently Patreon was planning to make some changes to the way funding is distributed - the short version is, this was going to be a small % cost put onto patrons. This was extremely unpopular for obvious reasons, and creators like me have been emailing and contacting Patreon on social media to make them aware how much we objected to this.

I did not want to comment on this until it had actually been clearly resolved one way or the other. Had they gone ahead with this I would have had to make a tough decision about continuing to use Patreon or not based on it being fair to you guys.

However because of just how unpopular this change was proving to be, I really did not think they would go ahead with it - and happily - I have been proven right. The sheer volume of outcry they had over this it would have been incredibly stubborn and arrogant for them to implement this. So I had a strong belief they would just backtrack and realise how stupid a concept it was they were trying to change to.

So that was all guys, I just wanted to clarify and give you a headsup that nothing is changing and I am pleased they saw sense and did not go ahead with the absurd changes they wanted to make.
