Hello again, Patreon! The response to my most recent line art has been absolutely phenomenal!! A lot of you really seem to be liking what you see! I didn't honestly anticipate such a reaction, let alone that I would be able to whip up some flat colors for this piece in so short a time!

At this point, I'm not sure how much further this piece will go? The New Year's image itself had virtually no shading, only some highlights on the jewelry and a lot of filters to show off the contrast of a bright, warm fireplace in a dimly-lit room. Do I follow a similar look with this one? Or should I go harder with the shading this time? I'm not sure!!

Regardless, my most sincere thank-you's to everyone who liked and commented on the last post. And as always, a big thank you to every one of you for your continued support! I anticipate the next update will be the finished product~ Until then, take care of yourselves!!

Oh that's cool dude! All that work really shows! Does that include the feet too? Like are they just made san references, too or do you anything for inspiration?

I've got a pretty good grasp of the feet in general, especially having touched and held my wife's own so often-- observation is a wonderful teacher! But I am forcing myself to draw the feet from the tops and front more frequently, since it is a problem area of mine. I have a friend who draws feet in sandals beautifully, and he's a constant inspiration for me to keep improving!

Haha Well, that makes sense! Observation is a good teacher! But awesome that you're moving out of your comfort zones and pushing yourself! Does your friend have an art account of some kind? I'd love to check out his work!
