Well, guys, I knew I was getting in over my head when I said I wanted to get this done in time for Thanksgiving, but I had no idea I was going to run into so many snags!

My last day off was mostly spent trying-- and failing-- to get a new phone. Mine's old and all beat up, it's due for an upgrade. But it turns out the phone I bought isn't even compatible with my current service plan! And I'm not about to return it!! I was left so bummed by the whole ordeal that by the time I finally got home, the last thing I wanted to do was draw. So video games it was! That always helps me feel better!

I did, however, manage to get some work done today! Cleaned up all the messy color splotches on the individual layer, so shading should be that much easier now! And as you can see, I've already started in some spots! This is a great way to show my blending process, especially for the way I handle lighter-colored soles! And as you can probably guess, it's a preference of mine~

I'm not about to give up on this piece! I aim to work this one all the way to completion as thanks for your continued support, before I go back and finish other works like the Sheska piece and the like. Until next time, friends!!

To quote the first big foot focus piece on Kurenai, *ahem* "Undoubtedly, those tender tootsies of hers have some incredible sensitivity within. But, to her own credit, Kurenai is a masterful magician, and has arrogantly dubbed herself "absolutely uncatchable". It should come as no surprise that she feels perfectly secure even when displaying her greatest vulnerability, knowing that not a soul stands a chance of coming near her, lest they face the very harsh consequences..." So, I guess now we know that at least one soul stand a chance against her. It just took a powerful fae. :3
