helfreck did nothing wrong. she was a good friend/therapist. she asked the important questions and let anya come up with the answers for herself. i get that its cute to watch with the banter and all but in real life xander would be a negger cause he always has something scarcastic and negative to say about anya. it doesnt come from a place of anger or malice so we let it slide but its very disrespectful. but hey, her man her choice. my job as your friend is to make sure you are truly aware what you are getting into and the consequences of your bad choices. this drug will do xyz to you, but its not my job to stop you from taking it. do with the information i gave you even if that choice is to ignore it.

#SundayRundown At this point in Young Justice, everyone is playing 4D chess, and the 'main team' is unknowingly caught in the middle. It's odd to see out heroes this season be so out of the loop that all they can do is play to the various chessmaster's tunes. G Gordon Godfrey is working as an extension of Darkseid, tripping up Luthor whenever he can while appearing spotless and appealing to the wider masses. Luthor is waging a quiet war while strengthening his image and Vandal Savage's grand plan. This episode even showing him clashing a bit with Godfrey, Luthor not really used to being outplayed like this. Then there's Batman's group literally doing false flag operations to help the main team's brand while covering his own covert operations. Batman knows he can't play by the hero rules, but at this point even with what little he knows about the Light's endgame, he knows this cold war can't be fought with ideals in tact. Every side is playing dirty and I give the writers props for it.
