#SundayRundown - We basically got Squad 7's philosophy in this episode, even though they didn't spell it outright - Komamura tells Iba never to run ad Iba chastises Ikkaku for not completing his mission and putting himself above the Gotei 13. Basically put simply, they are guard dogs (fitting, looking at Komamura) - they are loyalty personified and pillars of strength that must complete their missions no matter what and never run from them nor put themselves above them.

#SundayRundown So yeah...even as a Bleach superfan I cannot explain why the animators decided to go sicko mode on Hisagi's fight. It's just such a fun random treat. In response I think I will share some fun Shuhei Hisagi facts. First, he is the editor and chief of the Soul Reaper newspaper, Seireitei Communication, and wrote the advice column 'Please Teach Me! Shūhei Sensei!!' which was so unpopular it was cancelled after three issues and he locked himself in his office for three days because of the bad reviews. He also spends most of his money on fixing up a motorcycle he brought in from the human world. He has to import the fuel to ride it so it takes up most of his salary.
