Greg, I’m a platinum whore like you, but only have 108 platinums…. But I’m playing my backlog now and saw Kena Bridge of Spirits. Requires a second new game plus for the plat so said screw it, just played the game to beat it. And running the path, seeing the cinematics without constantly running left to right for the collectibles I felt made this game a better experience. My question, do you think trophy hunting might be a detriment to a game?

Regarding the disposability of Pokémon in your party: As your pokemon defeats more and more Pokémon, it gains stat bonuses that can make a slightly underleveled Pokémon in your party more powerful than another one you just caught. Look up “EV training” if you want to learn the details. It’s a neat system that allows the hardcore kids to rigorously fine-tune their party’s stats while also letting the rest of us simply enjoy the fruits of a successful partnership with our most loyal partners
