Batman: The Animated Series - 4K 60fps AI Remaster Comparison

*PLEASE ENSURE YOU'RE WATCHING THE 4K QUALITY STREAM TO SEE ALL ENHANCEMENTS* Here we have the intro to Batman: The Animated Series, AI remastered from a 576i 24fps DVD source to 2160p 4K 60fps. Massive props to GRisk AI Applications (https://www.patreon.com/DAINAPP) - their new RIFE AI animation model did a wonderful job interpolating the frame rate up to 60fps while removing the "animated on twos" duplicated frames present throughout. This is also my first experiment using Topaz Labs Video Enhance AI's new Proteus V3 model which just released with V2.6.0 of their software. I think it's done an incredible job bringing this footage up to 4K. I've been playing around with this one for quite some time. It actually took considerably more time to find a comparison format that would get past YouTube's copyright checks than it did to upscale the video! Hence the side-by-side comparison without my usual swipe/reveal. Apologies also if you get ads on this video. They're being run by WBTV, the copyright owner.

Hello, I would like to know, did you use Topaz for the upscale first and then Rife?

the AC

Wow that looks great!

Snake Plissken

Really noticable with walking and the panning shots

Fuck. Batman was so good. That intro sums up every episode in one captivating minute.

Agreed - I thought the new animation model did a stellar job on the bank fire as well - that bit really blew me away
