New Year's Post (Patreon)

This year has been... Incredible.

Incredibly hard. Maybe the hardest, day to day, of my life, and that's saying something. I've been scared, for income, for my health, for the safety of my loved ones. We've all gone through hell, and not everyone made it out.

Incredibly busy. I started writing through Patreon in February and look at us now! I try not to encourage parasocial relationships too much, because it can be overwhelming, but I do want to reiterate I couldn't have done it without every last one of you. Subscriptions, commissions, likes, reads, comments, every part of it has made a difference and encouraged me to keep going.

Incredibly sweet. I've met people this year, got to know them, got closer to them, that mean more I could ever say. The writing community I'm a part of is one of the coolest I've ever had the privilege of getting to know.

I feel incredibly lucky. I've found, after almost 30 years, what I love doing, and I've been encouraged to keep doing it by all of you, and I have no words for how grateful I am.

2021 will be hard. It'll be busy. But, I hope, it'll be incredible. I'm just getting started, and I hope to see you all in the next year too. Thank you 💜
