Hi! I'm not sure if you saw it on Twitter, so I will be posting it here.

I fucked up. Shouldn't done it, it was stupid and lazy of me.

As you probably notice there few stuff going around about me tracing art and animations. And it's true, I traced several animation.

Why? No good reason, really. Felt lazy, felt like I could get away with it. Wanted to cut corners with it, didn't wanna do anything. It doesn't matter, there's no excuse for what I've done.

I want to apologize to everyone who got effected by that. I apologize for people who trusted me and supported me. I'm sorry for lying and being disappointment to you. I'm disappointed in myself as well. It was dishonest, bad and stupid. And I'm sorry.

I've already reached out to most of the artists who I stole from to apologize personally. I will be deleting all traced animations.

I haven't traced all of the animations I've made, but I traced a lot. And it has to stop.

Thank you for people who actually discovered it (I mean it). Shouldn't have done any of it at the first place and won't do it again.

Patreon page will be working as usual (minus the tracing), and the rewards will be posted every month.

Just to add to stuff already said on here and discord, you 100% need to make sure this posts public, post a full list of works traced and original source (this ones most important cause if you don’t or omit traced works you risk being called disingenuous). I have faith you can win back trust

Yeah it sucks but this will be a good learning experience.

I know you can do better and learn from your mistakes. Im looking forward to future animations

Wont say its just alright, its not okay to trace art but hopefully itll be a learning point. I really like your art but hearing the truth get told is kind of disappointing, maybe a little more. I wanna see you make art you wanna make without bothering yourself with quotas, especially if it means its the real good stuff. But until then i hope you truly make the amends and improvements you need to. Definitely only ever a lurker but just thought itd be worth to say something considering my choice to pick a higher tier. Whichever way it goes, i wish you the best of luck

Don't delete anything, you're overreacting. Stop acting like tracing is illegal, it isn't. I know that tracing is frowned upon by artists but that doesn't take away from the fact animation is a lot of work, traced or not. I don't blame you for wanting to cut corners and make the process easier. There is no need to apologise to artists either because you didn't 'steal' their work. A general apology to fans is fine, it doesn't even need to be public, something like: "I'm sorry I traced, it won't happen again." You can leave it at that and nothing more, you have already done enough. Time to move on and continue as normal. Twitter has built a culture of the 'shame mob' as soon as they realise somebody has made a mistake they become an 'other' and no apology will ever be good enough. So stop beating yourself up over something blown into a bigger problem than it needs to be. Sending virtual hugs your way.🤗

So that’s why everything disappeared…

i try to stay off twitter for my own sanity but congrats on to you for owning up to it and not hiding from it or denying it. Edit: ok i went to twitter for the other side and in typical twitter fashion i don't agree with them I agree that what you did was wrong but the amount of unaffected people telling you you should delete all of your stuff and restart which is extremely ridiculous. I looked at the document where they compiled they evidence and i can definitely see that tracing was done but I can also see that to me a non artist it just looks like drew your own art and put them in the same position or animation loop as the traced animation. To me the non artist it looks to me like you did everything yourself but just copied the positions and frames for the animation loop so i don't really know what the super issue is aside from it being morally wrong. I get that its technically taking frames someone else did and passing it off as your own but its your own art just in that animation position. can you or someone else in the comments explain to me how this is different from using lets say a Nintendo character in an animation? Its the same principal of the original not being yours but you use your own artstyle to recreate it. Are people mostly upset because you make alot from patreon comparative to the people who were traced or is there a deeper reasoning I'm missing beyond its technically plagiarism?

-This is a translated sentence- The biggest difference between tracing is that it does not benefit the original artist. derivative works artists, game YouTubers, etc. can be active because they have a symbiotic relationship. It increases the lifespan of content and creates an influx of population. However, tracing does not benefit the original artist at all. It only steals unilaterally. In this respect, it is worse than illegal sharing sites.

-This is a translated sentence- The tracing list that used to be 9->12 is now cleared. The list someone is creating currently has 25 tracing lists created. I understand the feeling of being embarrassed and wanting to hide it, but the more you do, the deeper your suspicions are. The problem with tracing is that there is absolutely no benefit to the original artist. Solving this problem is simple. Disclose the artists you traced and promote them to your fans. If you let them benefit too, it can get out of unilateral theft. Build a symbiotic relationship. There are people who get angry because you have a one-sided and unfair relationship. Building a symbiotic relationship removes any reason to be angry. I hope you make a wise decision

Having been a supporter since 2021, this saddens me. I heard rumors of you tracing art in the past, but I dismissed them, giving you the benefit of the doubt. You coming out and confessing is admirable, whether of your own accord or not, but to lie to your patrons and to steal from other artists is unforgivable, and I'm afraid I can no longer continue to support someone that does that. I don't condone your actions in any capacity, and it hurts both us and those artists. We all make mistakes, and I understand the art-world is extremely competitive, but there are always other options. I do sincerely wish you luck, and hope that you make better decisions in the future.
