I know all of you are patiently awaiting the final build and I can't wait to release to you.

I've been writing every day for the last few weeks and I've gotten a lot done, clocking in at about 10k words so far. Only problem is, It doesn't even feel like I'm halfway done and my outline develops more and more obstacles.

I have been looking for a second job for some time now and finally managed to get hired for a really nice position. The best part about this position is that I'll be able to possibly work on Lyre while at work if it's just writing and coding (with permission, of course.)

Starting this job at first may take a bit of time away from working on Lyre. November ended up being a very busy month for me outside of working on the novel.

I'm going to continue to write day and night in order to hopefully finish this build on time, but if I'm not able to finish it on time, then I will simply upload what I have on the 21st and then upload the rest a few days later.

I don't think I've ever missed a deadline before, so here's hoping I can get this done.

Also the Patreon release will be much different from the public release in December. I'm going to be using the month between each release to polish up everything slightly and maybe add in some extra assets.

Thank you for reading.

I'd rather a fantastic VN that takes time...than a hastily made one does well.

I'm not hastily making it. I'm just saying I might only release 2/3 of the build at first.

I'd rather wait a extra month for your finished vision than get something early and then the rest later. You're finishing your first visual novel/book which is a rarity in this space of games that never end or get stuck in development limbo. Please take your time no one will be upset. Like dude you charge 1$ at the lowest tier to access this content take all the time you need. Ofc it's all up to you and I support any option you choose.
