Hello everyone! I have been thinking about this for a long time and I'm finally ready to propose this idea.

A lot has happened to me recently. I've moved out of my parents house and I'm going through a lot of stages of my life all at once.  Working on Lyre is very enjoyable for me and I would like to turn it into something I can do more often. I want to bring you guys builds much faster than I already do and I want to make sure I have enough time to put as much effort into them as possible.

I was thinking about reworking the way the Tiers work on this Patreon. I want it to feel more interactive and I wanted to give people more reasons to subscribe than just an early access to builds and images.

Another reason for this is because I would really like to increase profits. Right now I'm able to barely sustain myself, but it's not enough. Rent isn't the only expense I need to pay. I didn't want to have to have to talk about this part of my life right now but I feel my reason should be known.

I was thinking about adding a new Tier that gives very special benefits that's just a bit more expensive than the Gold Tier.  But I wanted to know what you guys would want to see. I could even make it two Tiers with one giving an extremely worthy award.

I really want to hear your guys ideas for benefits. I really care about what my Patrons want and I want to satisfy you in the best way I can. Making you guys happy means more profits and more profits means I can support myself and continue making this visual novel.

I actually already make a custom pledge so creating another tier is fine. I always felt there should be another tier above $3 because of all the work you do. I do think it’s hard to come up with different reward ideas other than showing wip’s and different polls.

For me personally, I don’t think I would go for a tier higher than gold unless the reward was incredibly interesting. I’m not sure what would entice me to go for the higher tier honestly. Maybe some perks to be able to interact with you more? Hopefully other people have some good ideas. I love the work you do and hope you’d be able to do it full time like you love. I’ll support whatever you decide to do ❤️

I swapped out my pledge for the 3$. Id definitely go for a 5or6 $. You put alot of heart in your Work. I might even go slightly farther & say that i feel alright supporting & partaking in your endeavor.

I would love a drawing stream. Like just you streaming drawing new backgrounds and sprites with a bit of talking.

I think you shouldn't be afraid to have 2 more tiers. In fact I'd say 3 would be just fine. $1 > $3 > $5 > $10 > $20-25 seems like a good structure. The highest tier doesn't have to have anything extremely "worth it" by the way. If someone wants to drop a lot of money on the patreon, it's probably because they love your work and want to support it more than they want to benefit from their tier. So long as it's not too pricey to get access to the things people would want most. An idea for whatever tier you end up making the highest is to have the names appear in a sort of "special thanks" type thing that you often see in credits of some video games. Another idea for a rather high tier could be being able to be put in a sort of raffle to have a character of their design(within the flavor of Lyre's world ofc) be introduced as a minor character. Think like the blacksmith or the owl at the bakery I think it was. I'm sure people would love to see themselves in the game. It also gives you an excuse to create more side characters as the cast is quite limited currently.

Merch is defenitly a good idea for more profit and a lot of people is waiting for this

I think it's a fantastic idea you work so hard and meticulously on your vn it shows you care so much not only for your vn but also for your supporters and as a supporter adding new higher cost tiers would be great for you we love your work and want to help you more

Congrats on moving out of your parents' house. I've been there. I slept on my mom's couch for a year while trying to tackle college. Living alone has its own set of challenges of course, but I love the freedom.
