Yo!

Just wanted to share one last thing before the year ends!

Like I mentioned in the last WIP, I felt like the plane and stale blood pool on its own wouldn't do the job so I went my way on changing the toplogy of the mesh by making the quadric format circular, then I added a bunch of flexes for each individual ripple for every part of the area that is in contact with Walriders hands, knees and feet and voila!
I "just" have to apply the same technique to the previous and upcoming shots ones and the blood thingy is all set >:)

Aside from my SFM endevours, I realized a little too late that I haven't anything that I can deduct this year so I decided to buy a bunch of hardware to upgrade my main PC which would cost around 4k to not only give it a big power boost that helps us render everything way faster but also build another PC from the older parts to let multiple PCs (3 in total) render the finalized project AND being ready to take on the massive render times in Blender one we've switched over.

So till the end of this year, I'm gonna apply the blood thingy to the previous shots, buy and build the PC and prepare my documents for the upcoming *puke* tax return D:

Enjoy the holidays, merry christmas and all that good shit! \m/

The geeks among us would love to know the actual specs of the new rig. You know, CPU and generation, GPU(s), type and amount of RAM, storage space. Like what does it really take to do this.

Since Paypal doesn't let me do any payments for reasons unknown to me and the regional IBAN methods never seem to work either I decided to invest the money in ETFs instead, fuck em :) It's not urgent anyway. If that problem still occurs the next time I want to upgrade the machine, I'm probably just gonna buy all the parts in a local computer store and we're all set. The parts I wanted to buy are the following: RTX 4080 Ryzen 9 7950X3D 2xG.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 32GB Kit DDR5-7800 CL36 GigaByte X670E Aorus Pro X
